Route optimization is essential, as for each ship the balance is sought between safety and economical savings on a everyday basis. As ex-seafarer you know how a ship reacts in certain weather circumstances, on how far can you go without endangering the crew, the ship and it’s cargo. As weather is a 24/7 business please note you will be working in shifts including the weekends, evenings and nights.
