Overall Responsibilities: Support the setup, configure, manage network security appliances used to support the companies ISO, PCI, HIPAA, SSAE, and customer information security and compliance initiatives Utilize the network security tools to analyze network traffic, logs, vulnerability scans, and other output logs and vulnerability scans to assess, prioritize and differentiate between potential intrusion attempts and false positives; launch investigations; compose and send alert notifications, and develop automated response processes for profiled threats; provide guidance to network operations for handling security incidents.
