Creates and maintains reservation records-usually by date of arrival and alphabetical listing prepares letters of confirmation and promptly processes any cancellations and modifications. A reservation agent also does the billing process to direct client, local travel agent, and OTA partners. Manages to load of allotment in the channel manager as well as the extranet of OTA’s like Agoda, Booking.com, Expedia, Hotelbeds etc. Must be friendly and efficient, helping guests find the right accommodations to fit their needs, suggesting different packages or amenities that the facility offers and asking questions to help determine what the client needs.
