The SM Store – Pasay City, Metro Manila – Responsibilities: Performs first-level problem determination and resolution Assists users or answers basic user inquiries for the point-of-sale/point-of-service system and other IT systems for which he has been trained Brings to the appropriate IT Branch Officer problems / issues that cannot be solved at his level or inquiries he was not trained to answer Installs POS servers, POS terminals, user workstations and related IT equipment Connects the equipment to power source and communication lines that allow the transmission of information over computer networks Ensures that all components are configured to function together correctly Goes to user’s workplaces to make the necessary diagnosis of a reportedly malfunctioning equipment and bring the equipment back to working condition Assists in preventive maintenance procedures on a regular basis Resolve problems occurring from application programs Maintains logbooks or operating records, listing each job that is run and events, …
