Coolaire formally started in 1969 and engaged as a main supplier of U.S. manufactured air conditioning equipment to projects in the U.S. bases, as well as to government and local building accounts. Company name then was Coolaire Engineering. The company exclusively represented for the Philippine market renowned U.S. manufacturers, and provided for the marketing and selling activities on an indent commission basis. In the 1980s, the group decided to change the company operating status from a single proprietorship entity to a corporation. Thus, Coolaire Consolidated, Inc. was incorporated; to pave the way for its future growth and expansion plans. In 1989, Coolaire decided to re-involve itself with the construction industry, which was then starting to become more active and to position itself as a major player in time for the expected construction boom.
