  1. Your subject line is an important element of your email. Make sure the subject line is clear and concise. After all, it is the first thing the recruiter will see. 
  2. At the beginning of your body paragraph restate your name, the position you interviewed for, and the time of the interview. 
  3. Keep the email concise. 
  4. Be sure to thank the recruiter for their time. This may seem like a lot of repetition when it comes to thanking them but you want to show respect and gratitude for speaking with you. 
  5. Set a positive tone and attitude throughout the email.
  6. Add in anything you weren’t able to mention in the interview.
  7. Proofread your email before sending it off
